Red-figure patera-phiale depicting a woman with a fan and basket, Classified Gallo-Classical Scenography, female images iconographic, Southern Italian pottery, repossession Zabkowice Slaskie, Zabkowice - collection, Apulia Italy, Reddish clay, black glaze, numerous additions of white and yellow paint. A deep bowl with two vertical profiled handles on the rim, decorated with three decorative knobs with heads adorned with white rosettes. A funnel-shaped foot with an upturned profiled rim; similar profiling on the vessel rim. Richly decorated interior: in a medallion framed with a motif of laurel branches painted in white and an ornament of black chasing waves, a woman running left in a chiton carrying a basket and a fan. Stylized plants on the sides; a rosette in the left field. 350–325 BC previously dated to the 3rd quarter of the 4th century BC. Apulia, vessel patera. Weight 1.144 kg., An earthenware vessel with a shallow bowl shape on a pedestal foot, featuring a central arching handle and a few small rounded knop-like protrusions around the rim; the surface shows bands of black and terracotta tones with areas of worn and slightly lighter patches, and the handle and rim have darker, almost black coloring with some lighter speckling.
