The mouth is twisted in a grimace. c. 350 BC, Greece. Sculpture; height 7 cm, width 6.5 cm, weight 0.51 kg., A worn marble head with textured surface and weathered features positioned against a flat gray background, showing a pale off-white and light gray stone with areas of darker gray and brownish discoloration, with sculpted hair forming a rough mass around the forehead and temples, faintly defined eyebrows and eye sockets, a rounded nose with irregular surface, and a closed mouth with a subtle downturn.
