Amulet - udjat eye;, Amulet in the shape of an udjat eye with very carefully carved details; the eyebrow is carved in a herringbone pattern. A hole for a thread runs across it. The amulet is in the form of a very thick plate. Light blue glaze. Protective amulet, grave goods. Date: 664–525 BC; Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Egypt. Place of origin: Berytos. Materials/type: amulet. Dimensions: height 3 cm, width 4.5 cm, depth 0.9 cm., A carved object shaped like a stylized eye with smooth, rounded contours and raised linear ridges, showing a central almond-shaped eye area and a curved lower sweep with a short downward extension; the surface is primarily pale turquoise with areas of lighter blue-green and small patches of darker green and brownish spots, with a few worn and slightly rougher areas exposing tan or beige undertones.
