Fragment of a bucchero nero bowl. Bucchero nero, ancient Etruscan vessel fragment with a flat bowl and a ring-shaped stem. On the inside of the bowl is scratched the Etruscan letter kh. On the bottom is engraved the complete Etruscan alphabet. 6th–5th century BC Archaic period. Etruria. Height 2.2 cm; width 10.5 cm., A broken shallow bowl-like object sits against a plain gray background, showing a curved rim that is irregular and chipped along its edge. The surface of the object displays a mix of dark gray and black areas, with patches of light beige and tan on the outer rim and body. The interior appears darker with mottled dark gray tones, while the exterior has a weathered texture with visible lighter beige and sandy spots. There is a small area with reddish discoloration near the lower side, and the overall surface shows rough, uneven textures and worn edges.
