Knuckle-shaped fibula, unknown Roman workshop. Fibula with a flat underside, rounded at the top, rising from a horizontal semicircle upwards, bent at an acute angle and terminating in a semicircle with a button in the center. Below the arch, on one side, there is a long spiral, from which a pin emerges; on the other, a high stem at the end is bent into a sheath. Material: bronze. Condition: good. Date: 2nd half of the 2nd–1st half of the 3rd century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Type: fibula. Dimensions: height 2.6 cm, width 3.7 cm., A close-up view of a small metallic object against a plain gray background, showing an L-shaped curved upper piece with a textured, corroded surface in shades of dark brown, rust, and dull bronze, attached to a straight thin rod that extends horizontally and tapers to a pointed end with similar brown and rust tones; the left end of the rod connects to a knotted, irregular cluster of metal with layered, curled folds and rough pitting in dark brown and bronze hues, and the right side of the curved piece ends in a short, thicker section with a broken or worn tip, all set on a uniform light gray backdrop.
