Honorific inscription, unknown workshop of Asia Minor author, repossession, Roman legions, military decorations, 120–130, Asia Minor Heraclea Salbake, inscription; height 57 cm, width 49 cm, depth 8 cm, weight 49.5 kg, A roughly rectangular stone slab with an irregular top and chipped edges, showing a weathered, uneven surface and a vertical crack near the center; the slab is light beige to pale gray with darker gray shadowing in recessed areas, and there are subtle warm tan and brown patches on parts of the surface; the face of the slab is covered by a grid-like pattern of shallow carved horizontal lines and repeated short carved marks within those lines, creating a textured, incised appearance; overall the stone sits against a smooth neutral gray background.
