The reverse is also decorated with a cross motif. Decoration engraved with a thin, shallow line. Dark wood. 20th century, Ethiopia. Cross; height 26 cm, width 8 cm., An elongated carved wooden object with a tapered end and a wider opposite end, showing a carved geometric cutout near the wider end and shallow incised linear decorations along its surface; the wood surface displays worn and weathered areas with a patina ranging from dark brown to lighter brown and small patches of black, set against a plain grey background.
