Bottle, Egyptian workshop; painted Coptic pottery, painted pottery with geometric decorations. Low, wide, annular foot; belly walls widely flared at the bottom, bent inward at approximately one-third of the vessel; neck reflected. Decoration painted in black and white, banded: below the neck a zigzag band painted in white adorned with a diagonal black check motif; below that a strip of vertical lines painted alternately with black and white paint, framed at top and bottom by double black stripes. LRO type. Nile clay, low porosity, with distinct golden mica flakes. 6th century, Egypt; vessel. Height 17.5 cm, width 11 cm body, diameter 8 cm outer rim., An earthenware vessel with a rounded, tapering form and a small, irregular base is shown against a plain gray background; the vessel's surface is primarily terracotta with areas of faded orange and brown, and it is decorated with painted bands and geometric motifs in darker brown and pale beige tones, including a crisscross pattern near the top and vertical teardrop shapes around the midsection, with visible wear, chips, and surface abrasion.
