Bottle, Egyptian workshop, painted Coptic pottery, painted pottery, geometric decorations. Low, wide, annular foot; belly walls widely flared at the bottom, bent inward at approximately one-third of the vessel; neck reflected. Decoration painted in black and white, banded. Below the neck, a zigzag band painted in white, adorned with a diagonal black check motif; below, a strip of vertical lines painted alternately with black and white paint, framed at top and bottom by double black stripes. LRO type item. Nile clay, low porosity, with distinct golden mica flakes. 6th century, Egypt; vessel. Height 17.5 cm, width 11 cm body, diameter 8 cm outer rim., A round, weathered clay pot viewed from above with a rough, uneven rim and a dark hollow center, sitting against a smooth gray background; visible colors include terracotta orange and brown on the pot, dark brown and black in the interior, and various shades of gray in the background.
