Euphemia's Epitaph, unknown author, Greek inscriptions, tombstone inscription. Preserved central fragment of a white marble slab. Top and bottom are chipped, but the inscription is intact. In the center of the slab is a large cross with almost equal arms widening at the ends. The inscription is placed between the arms of the cross. Rounded letters are placed between marked thin lines; letter height 1.5–2.1 cm, average line spacing 0.2 cm. The inscription comes from Bithynia or Constantinople. 6th–7th century, Asia Minor. Greek inscription, epitaph stele; height 15.0 cm, width 20.5 cm, depth 3.2 cm., A roughly rectangular pale beige stone slab with an irregular top edge and worn corners, featuring carved shallow grooves and a prominent symmetrical raised cross-like motif in the center with flaring curved arms; the surface shows weathered texture and slight discoloration with areas of darker beige and pale gray, and there are several rows of incised marks arranged around the central motif, with small chips and roughness along the edges.
