Euphemia's Epitaph, Greek inscriptions, tombstone epitaph. Preserved central fragment of a white marble slab; top and bottom chipped, inscription intact. In the center a large cross with almost equal arms widening at the ends; the inscription is placed between the arms. Rounded letters placed between marked thin lines; letter height 1.5–2.1 cm, average line spacing 0.2 cm. Origin: Bithynia or Constantinople, 6th–7th century, Asia Minor. Stele; height 15.0 cm, width 20.5 cm, depth 3.2 cm., A roughly rectangular slab with a rough, uneven surface and broken edges, showing a pale off-white to beige stone with areas of light tan and small darker spots, set against a solid gray background.
