One of the long sides has panel that is both reversible and removable. There is rectangular opening in this panel; on both sides (inside and outside) are above and below conductors In the guides different formats of plates with images can be inserted. Removing the panel gives the opening the size of the accompanying slide panoramas. In the cabinet there is separate tin holder with five candle holders for narrow candles; this holder can be removed. For the illumination of the diafanoramas thick short candles were used. The light box was therefore suitable for different applications (translucent or punched prints slide slides diafanoramas) optics diafanorama
