Riding coat, redingote of Hugo de Groot (Delft 1583 - Rostock 1645), goatskin with hooks and eyes, nest holes and bells, doublet jacket outerwear men's clothing clothes leather pewter linen sizes on torso with base, textile Natural colored leather doublet with long sleeves flat collar short lap in parts and button fastening. Lining of coarse linen the front panels are firmly padded. Button closure with tin buttons of which six are present. There are 29 buttonholes. The seams are finished with green woven silk band that has disappeared in many places. On the right sleeve is large gray spot near the forearm. On the collar the leather is worn and partly disappeared. On the inside is fabric at waist height with nest holes for the confirmation of the trousers male profane relic Hugo de Groot Rotterdam
