Seated next to a golden lion, La Felsina is personified at the top of a rocky base representing the Apennines. The mounts are adorned with griffins, the emblem of Francesco Ratta, and allegories of the four rivers; they feature basins of preserves and sweets. Dedication signed: Gioseffo Mazza. On p., 6, the text mentions that the sugar sculptures were executed by Giovanni Battista Zaccarini, the other decorations by Sebastiano Sarti, under the supervision of Gioseffo Mazza
