This innovation is due to a clique of youthful brides of this year, who, objecting to their heads being used as mere hairdressers' blocks, and desirous to show their natural capillary advantages without over ornament or exaggeration, have begun a crusade against falsities, and wear their own hair in as simple a fashion as possible. Maried ladies of long standing, jealous of the success thus attained by their younger sisters, are fast following suit, and we may hopefully look forward to the time when the present unsightly edifices of false hair shall be replaced by natural shapely heads.
