Creation of the order of the Legion of Honour : bas-relief in the crypt of Napoleon's tomb in the church of Les Invalides in Paris.

At the centre, Napoleon I between 2 altars holding the crowns, rewarding all merits: the warrior who shed his blood for his country, the magistrate aged in the study of laws, arts, poetry, history and science honor, delight, educate and enlighten humanity.
