Interior of the ancient Café de la Régence at 161 rue Saint-Honoré, from 1681 to 1910. It was one of the first cafés in Paris frequented by Diderot, Rousseau, Napoleon Bonaparte or Benjamin Franklin and was known to be a famous address for chess players in the 18th and 19th centuries
