Prince Alexander of Serbia, World War I

Prince Alexander of Serbia (1888-1934). Participates in the First Balkan War against the Ottoman Empire (1912-1913), then in the First World War, during which Serbia is crushed and occupied after 1915. Regent of the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croates and Slovenes since 1918, he becomes the king after his father, Peter I, dies in 1921, under the name of Alexander II of Serbia or Alexander I of Yugoslavia. He is assassinated on the ship La Cannebiere, in Marseille, at the same time as Louis Barthou, French Minister of Foriegn Affairs.
