Son of Napoleon I and Marie Louise of Austria, he was titled as HM King of Rome by his father as soon as he was born and Duke of Reichstadt by his grandfather on his mother's side, the Emperor of Austria.
He became Napoleon II in 1815 and died at the age of 21 from tuberculosis
