Goodwood Races: the Goodwood Cup - equestrian statue of Queen Elizabeth, 1865. One of the silver cups, '...or pieces of plate, which formed the principal prizes won at Goodwood races last week. [Cup] manufactured by Messrs. Hunt and Roskell. The design is a figure of Queen Elizabeth [I], on horseback, receiving a crossbow, which is handed to her by an attendant maiden in the classic garb of a huntress.
