Seascapes with views of the Ij and Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Katwijk, etc. Untitled, 1701. The foreground emphasises the swirling seas, and leads to two listing vessels. The larger of these leads a dinghy in tow. The latter's large flag features and lion rampart and the initials 'LB', doubling up wittily as Ludolf Bakhuizen's monogram.
