Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire, 1923. A horse-drawn cart laden with coppiced wood standing on the main street in Wootton Rivers with thatched cottages in the background. In the negative index for the collection, the photographer has recorded that the photograph was taken outside the Royal Oak Inn, she has also referred to the coppiced wood as 'faggots' which are branches and twigs bound together to form bundles of a certain length and diameter.
