Engineer working at Husband & Co, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, 1962. The engineer is assembling a housing for a giant worm screw drive for a radio telescope at Goonhilly Downs in Cornwall. Sir Charles Husband CBE (1908-1983) was the founder of Husband & Co, Consulting Engineers, and was involved in the design of the radio telescopes at Jodrell Bank and Goonhilly Downs.
