Cathedral of Notre-Dame, Reims, France, late 19th or early 20th century. The facade of the cathedral of Notre Dame de Reims, where the Kings of France used to be crowned. The cathedral dates from the late 13th century and is one of the finest Gothic cathedrals in France. It was seriously damaged by German artillery in World War I and underwent major restoration work before reopening in 1937.
