Medieval moated castle of Japanese princes, occasionally used by the Mikado, Nagoya, Japan, 1896. The castle was built in 1610-1612 during the reign of the Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa. It was rebuilt in the 1950s after it was destroyed in an American air raid on Nagoya in May 1945. Stereoscopic card. Detail.
