Thoth was usually portrayed with the head of an ibis, but in Ancient Egyptian mytholigy he also took the form of a baboon in his manifestation as A'an, the god of equilibrium who reported when the scales weighing the heart of the deceased against the feather were exactly in balance. Located in the Louvre, Paris.
