'Military Review with Ibrahim Pacha, Champ de Mars, Paris', c1846 (1847). The son of Muhammad Ali Pasha, Ottoman Viceroy of Egypt, Ibrahim Pasha (1789-1848) visited Western Europe in 1846. After his father became senile Ibrahim ruled Egypt as regent from July 1848 until his death in November of the same year. A print from 19th Century Egypt, 1847.
