'Marriage A-la-Mode: 5. The Bagnio', c1743. A bagnio, originally a coffee houses which offered Turkish baths, later meant a place where rooms could be rented with no questions asked. The Countess pleads for forgiveness at the feet of the Earl who is dying from a wound inflicted by Silvertongue, seen escaping through the window.
