Pulling in Fishing Net from Indian Ocean, Hikkaduwa, West Coast Sri Lanka, 20th century. Local fishermen pull nets from the sea in Sri Lanka, which being an island in the Indian Ocean is ideal for fishing. Hikkaduwa was affected by the tsunami caused by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.
