A a medieval castle in Dover, Kent, founded in the 11th century and described as the Key to England due to its defensive significance throughout history. Between 1217 and 1256 Henry III spent 7500 pounds improving the castle's defences. Arthur's Hall, at the end of The Inner Curtain Walls along the eastern wall of the inner bailey, and was finished in 1240
