The Pont au Change, decorated with Napoleon's imperial insignia. Previously, the bridge has been known as the Pont au Changeurs (1141), the Grand Pont (1273), the Pont à Coulons, the Pont aux Colombes, the Pont aux Meuniers, the Pont de la Marchandise, the Pont aux Marchands and the Pont aux Oiseaux during the 16th and 17th Centuries.
