Palace of Versailles. Boudoir of Empress Marie-Louise. Boudoir belonging to Madame Mère in 1805, then to Empress Marie-Louise, this room was attached to the apartment that Louis-Philippe had furnished, previously being used as kitchens under Louis XIV. Today, the room is used to accomodate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and is used to welcome distinguished guests, who entered via the left door to the left of the chimney.
