A fountain in the Palace of Versailles. In 1704, the Chestnut Room replaced the Antiques Hall, organised from 1680 by André Le Nôtre, and which made up a total of 28 antique statues on the pedestals placed in the water of a small canal, today replaced by chestnut trees, at a time when they were still a curiosity.
