Erbario di Trento (Manoscritto n° 1591), XVI secolo, carta 35 verso: ”Antolas Maçora”.
“Si quis haberent venenum ad os suum, accipe
de ista herba et fac polverem. Et de polvere
da ey bibere cum acceto forti: subito iactat
venenum per os et est probatum. Item, ad fa-
ciendum stagnare sanguinem et feritas salda-
re, accipe de ista herba et pistat et inplastretur
ubi essit sanguis et ferite stagnatur sive salda-
tur et est probatum.
Nascitur in partis sabionosis in quibus nix
longo tempore non moratur. Et colligitur de
mense madij vel iunij.”
La traduzione è: “Se qualcuno avesse portato alla bocca del veleno, prendi quest’erba, polverizzala e dagli da bere la polvere con aceto forte: subito butterà fuori il veleno, ed è cosa provata. Così per far stagnare il sangue e saldare le ferite, prendi quest’erba, pestala e fai un impiastro sul punto in cui esce il sangue e le ferite si saldano, ed è cosa provata. Nasce nei prati sabbiosi dove la neve non si ferma a lungo. Si raccoglie in maggio o giugno”.

“If someone has poison in their mouth, take this herb, crush it, and give it to them to drink with strong vinegar: they will immediately expel the poison, and this is proven. Likewise, to staunch blood and heal wounds, take this herb, crush it, and make a poultice on the spot where the blood comes out and the wounds heal, and this is proven. It grows in sandy meadows where the snow does not linger long. It is harvested in May or June.”
