“Ad faciendum preciossum et optimum un-
guentum apropriatum ad omnia mala, accipe
sucum foliorum istius herbe et decem uncias
de bona termentina et decem uncias incensi et
onz. X cere albe que sit virgo et duos ciatos viny et duos ciatos sucy foliorum istius erbe et
omnia ista fac bulire simul tantum quod in-
corporentur; postea pone in uno vase et di-
mitte quiescere per duos dies. Postia pone su-
per feritas vel super plagas natas et super can-
chrum et subito saldatur et curatur omne vul-
nus. Nascitur in alpibus claris et coligitur die decima lune mensis agustij.”
La traduzione è : “Per fare un unguento prezioso ed ottimo, appropriato ad ogni malattia, prendi il sugo delle foglie di questa erba e dieci once di buona trementina e dieci once d’incenso e dieci once di cera bianca vergine e due citati di vino e due citati del succo delle foglie di questa erba. E fai bollire tutte queste cose finché si incorporano, quindi metti in un vaso e lascia riposare per due giorni. Poi metti sulle ferite e sulle piaghe e sul cancro e subito ogni ferita si salderà e guarirà. Nasce sui monti soleggiati e si raccoglie il decimo giorni di luna del mese di agosto”.

“To make a precious and excellent ointment, suitable for every ailment, take the juice of the leaves of this herb and ten ounces of good turpentine, ten ounces of incense, ten ounces of virgin white wax, two ounces of wine, and two ounces of the juice of the leaves of this herb. Boil all these ingredients until they are incorporated, then place them in a jar and let them rest for two days. Then apply it to wounds, sores, and cancers, and immediately every wound will heal. It grows on the sunny mountains and is harvested on the tenth day of the moon in the month of August.”
