“Si quis esset feritus vel perforatus cum lancea,
accipe folia istius erbe et pista ea et pone su-
per feritum et subito sanabitur et est proba-
tum. Et dicta herba habet multas alias virtu-
tes sed precipue ista herba.
Nascitur in montibus Cecilie in locis asprissi-
mis et petrosis et fortis.”
La traduzione è “Se qualcuno fosse ferito o avesse una ferita di lancia prendi una foglia di questa erba, pestala e ponila sulla ferita. Subito essa guarirà. Ed è cosa provata. E questa erba ha molte altre virtù, ma soprattutto questa. Nasce sui monti della Sicilia, in luoghi molto aspri, petrosi e duri”.
