Item si quis esset stultus per infirmitatem aut per cibum receptum, accipe de ista herba et da ey comedere cum ovo aut cum alia re aut da ev bibere cum vino in polverem facta per spacium dierum XXIII et erit in sua memoria sicut primus. Nasscitur in montibus et in obscuris locis.” La traduzione è “Per sanare un osso rotto per febbre o per qualche incidente, prendi il succo di questa erba misto con olio dolce ed ungi l’osso rotto: in quindici giorni sarà sanato: Così, se qualcuno fosse indisposto a causa di qualche malattia o di qualche cibo, prendi quest’erba e dagliela da mangiare con un uovo o con un’altra cosa, o dagliela da bere con vino, ridotta in polvere, per 23 giorni, e tornerà in salute come prima. “To heal a bone broken by fever or some accident, take the juice of this herb mixed with sweet oil and anoint the broken bone: in fifteen days it will be healed. Likewise, if someone is indisposed because of some illness or some food, take this herb and feed it to him with an egg or something else, or give him a drink of it with wine, ground into powder, for twenty-three days, and he will be restored to health as before. It grows in the mountains and in dark places.”
