Erbario di Trento (Manoscritto n° 1591), XVI secolo, carta 3 recto: “Antolas Lupanas”.

“Si quis pateretur malum lupe, accipe de ista
herba et inplastretur super malum lupe per
spacium XXV dierum; curabitur malum lupe
vel alia pessima malatia et est probatum vero.
Item, si esset femina cui exiret sanguis infe-
rius, bibat de sugo istius herbe per spacium
decem dierum iciuno stomaco; subito curabit.
Nascitur in alpibus frigidis et oscurissimis.”
La traduzione è: “Se qualcuno soffre del male della lupa, prendi questa erba e fanne un impiastro: nello spazio di 25 giorni il mal della lupa, o qualsiasi altro bruttissimo male, sarà sanato. Ed è cosa provata. Così se una donna avesse perdite di sangue beva il sugo di questa erba per dieci giorni a stomaco digiuno. Subito sarà sanata. Nasce sulle alpi fredde e molto scure”.

“If anyone suffers from wolf's disease, take this herb and make a poultice: within twenty-five days, wolf's disease, or any other terrible disease, will be cured. And this is proven. Likewise, if a woman has bleeding, she should drink the juice of this herb for ten days on an empty stomach. She will be healed immediately. It grows in the cold and very dark Alps.”
