Palermo, The Royal Palace or Palazzo dei Normanni (Palace of the Normans), the monumental staircase: the "Golden Carriage", an eighteenth-century work that belonged to the Prince of Butera and the Lanza di Trabia family. It is characterized by a lavish decoration (angels and female figures). It was used in the film "La carrosse d'or" by J. Renoir with Anna Magnani.
