Caption
Fidenza, Duomo (Cathedral of San Donnino), right portal: the arch of the porch with the eight panels depicting the seven deadly sins, namely:
Wild boar or pig: gluttony
Bear: Anger
Badger: greed
Dog or jackal: envy
Goat: lust
Lion: pride
Donkey: sloth
Riding monkey: lust again.
In the centre, at the top: two fantastic creatures with a horned mask from whose grin a snake emerges, a clear reference to Satan.
Work by Benedetto Antelami e workshop.
