Museo di Palazzo Chiericati, Stanza del Firmamento: soffitto a soggetto allegorico (1557-8). Al centro, “Fetonte perde il controllo del carro del Sole e dei cavalli. Alle sue spalle, il carro della Luna guidato da Diana”. Gli affreschi dei riquadri rappresentano le costellazioni. Le quadrature in stucco bianche e dorate sono di Bartolomeo Ridolfi. Gli affreschi sono di Domenico Riccio, detto il Brusasorzi. Le grottesche sono di Eliodoro Forbicini.
Il ciclo rappresenta un esempio degli studi astrologici cinquecenteschi.

Civic Museum of Chiericati Palace, Hall of the Firmament: the ceiling with allegorical subject (1557-8). In the centre, “Phaeton loses control of the chariot of the Sun and the horses. Behind him, the chariot of the Moon driven by Diana ”. The frescoes in the panels represent the constellations. The white and golden stucco squares are by Bartolomeo Ridolfi. The frescoes are by Domenico Riccio, known as Brusasorzi. The grotesques are by Eliodoro Forbicini.
The cycle represents an example of sixteenth-century astrological studies.
