“Vesperbild” (Pietà), scultura in legno di noce del 1380/1400 proveniente dalla valle del Reno, culla della scultura Vesperbild che qui nacque nel XIV secolo. La Vergine siede sul Golgota, nel quale sono incassati due teschi.

“Vesperbild” (Lamentation), walnut wood sculpture from 1380/1400 from the Rhine valley, cradle of the Vesperbild sculpture that was born here in the 14th century. The Virgin sits on Golgotha, in which two skulls are embedded.
