Genova, Museo del Tesoro della Cattedrale di San Lorenzo: La statua della Madonna Immacolata, a grandezza naturale, lavorata a sbalzo dallo scultore Francesco Maria Schiaffino su commissione dei cittadini. La popolazione volle offrirla in dono al doge Giovanni Francesco II Brignole/Sale in riconoscimento per il ruolo da lui svolto durante la rivolta popolare che portò nel 1746 alla liberazione di Genova dall'occupazione delle truppe austriache.

Genoa, Museum of the Treasury of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo: The life/size statue of the Immaculate Madonna, by the sculptor Francesco Maria Schiaffino on commission of the citizens. The population wanted to offer it as a gift to the doge Giovanni Francesco II Brignole/Sale for the role he played during the popular revolt that led to the liberation of Genoa from the occupation of the Austrian troops in 1746.
