Soldiers of the US army arrive at the airport in Frankfurt on the Main on 29 September 1973 to participate in the NATO manoeuvre REFORGER V - "Return of Forces to Germany". More than 50.000 soldiers participated in the manoeuvre, amongst them there were also members of the German armed forces.
