Damaged sign against the devastation of nature by British troops

A sign adressed to the British occupying forces is laying damaged on the ground of Lueneburg Heath on 28th August 1958. 'How would you feel if tanks were to destroy your British National Parks?', German youth movements protested against the destruction of Lueneburg Heath by military vehicles of the British Army during the several exercises. The soldiers answered in their way: They rolled over the sign.
