The German canon boat "Panther" was sent to Agadir (Morocco) to protect German interests, photographed on the 1st of July in 1911. The "Panthersprung" (translates as "Jump of the panther") caused the 2nd Moroccan crisis, called Agadir crisis, which could be settled in the same year by the Morocco-Congo agreement between Germany and France. Morocco became French protectorate, Germany received the right to enlarge Cameroon by parts of Frech Equatorial Africa.
