Propaganda text on the back of the picture for National Socialist report: "Advance at the old castle Narva is over. The population returns to the city under the protection of the German Wehrmacht."
Motive from the Eastern front from the 27th of August in 1941.
The German attack of the Soviet Union was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa" and started on the 22nd of June in 1941.
Whereas German troops were at first welcomed by the population, hatred developed later and off-loaded in a brutal guerilla war.
