Propaganda text of National Socialist report on the back of the picture:
"Idyll at a river in the Caucasus. While crossing the ford, our troops met a herd of cattle, which had just gone to the watering place". Motive from the Soviet front, Caucasus, on the 16th of October in 1942. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa".
