"Laundry at an ice hole. Women have hoed in a hole into the ice to make their laundry". Motive from the Eastern front on the 20h of January in 1942. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa".
