The Grand Louvre project (1981-1999)
The Tour de la Liberté (Tower of Liberty), erected in 1989 in the Tuileries Garden to mark the bicentenary of the French Revolution. By the French architects Nicolas Normier and Jean-Marie Hennin from the Vosges region.
Dismantled after the celebrations, it was acquired by the town of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges and reassembled in Mansuy Park in July 1990.
